- Springfield Residents Ages 55+ Calendar for May
- 2024 Municipal Budget Presentation will be held Wednesday May 8th at 10:30am in the Margaret Bandrowski Meeting Room and Thursday May 9th at 7pm at Townhall Courtroom.
- Springfield First Aid Squad “Every Drop Counts” Blood Drive Friday May 17, 2024 from 1:30pm- 7:30pm at Chisholm Community Center Appointments encouraged walk-ins welcome.
- Municipal Clerk’s Week – May 5-11, 2024.
- National Association of Letter Carriers will be conducting an annual nationwide food drive. On Saturday May 11 letter carriers will collect non-perishable food donations as they deliver mail. Any questions contact Danielle Scarfone at 732-986-622

Resolution 2024-112 – This resolution of the Township Committee of the Township of Springfield, County of Union, NJ, covenanting to comply with the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, applicable to the exclusion from Gross Income for Federal Income Tax purposes of interest on obligations issued by the Township of Springfield, authorizing the Mayor, Township Clerk, Chief Financial Officer and other Township Officials to take such action as they may deem necessary of advisable to effect such compliance and designating a $8,173,000 Bond anticipation Note, dated May 1, 2024, and payable May 1, 2025 as a “Qualified Tax-Exempt Obligation” pursuant to Section 265 (b) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as Amended.
