Keep your children active when school's out over Winter Break! The Springfield Recreation Department and our partners Kiddies Kaleidoscope, U.S. Sports Institute, and Sweet Samantha are offering the following camps at the Chisholm Community Center (100 South Springfield Avenue):

Spring 2024 Softball Registration Open for Grades Pre K-9

Registration is open for Girls Softball in Spring 2024! Clinics for Pre-K and Kindergarteners, and leagues for 1st-9th graders, are offered to children who reside in or attend a school in Springfield.

Ice Skating Lessons for Ages 4-13 at Union Sports Arena in Collaboration with Springfield Recreation

Learn to ice skate this winter! Union Sports Arena is excited to offer indoor ice skating lessons for children ages 4-13 on Tuesdays 1/9/24-2/13/24, from 3:45-4:45 pm, in collaboration with Springfield Recreation Department. Lessons will be held at Union Sports Arena (2441-A Route 22 West). The cost is $110 per child and there are no make-ups. Chisholm Blood Drive on Monday, November 27

Blood donors needed! On Monday, November 27, 2023, a blood drive will be held at the Chisholm Community Center (100 South Springfield Avenue), from 1:30-7:30 pm, sponsored by the New York Blood Center-New Jersey Blood Services and hosted by the Springfield Recreation Department.
