Late Fall Season of Zumba for Adults Offered at Chisholm

Zumba with Amy Lauren continues until the end of the year! Classes for adults are held on Wednesdays at 7:00-8:00 pm at the Chisholm Community Center (2nd floor fitness studio), hosted by the Springfield Recreation Department. ​Costume Contest Winners are Highlights of Halloween Spooktacular 2023

The Springfield Recreation Department's Halloween Spooktacular was held in the Chisholm Community Center's Lee Adler Memorial Gymnasium due to morning rain and soaked grass on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The change in venue did not discourage hundreds of community members of all ages to gather and show off their scariest and most original costumes at the annual costume contest, which included a surprise new family category.

Chisholm to Host School's Out Camps in November

Keep your children active when school's out in early-November! The Springfield Recreation Department and partners Kiddies Kaleidoscope, U.S. Sports Institute, and Sweet Samantha are offering the following camps at the Chisholm Community Center:

Register for Springfield Recreation Department's Halloween Spooktacular

Springfield Recreation Department's annual Halloween Spooktacular is coming up on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 1:00-2:30 pm, at Chisholm Park (rain location: Chisholm Community Center). Children are invited to dress up and show off their scariest and most original costumes at the costume contest! Pre-registration is required on Community Pass at https://register.communitypass.net/springfield. Prizes will be awarded at approx. 2:15 pm.
